What to expect in a group Breathwork session
What to expect with an in-person session
– In a private session, there’s only one participant along with Amy Wilson
– In a group session, no more than 8 participants along with Amy Wilson
– Cost is determined by the number of sessions you purchase or special event price pre-determined with Amy
– Location: Amy’s Studio at 13415 S. 154th St, Gilbert, Az 85296
– Same day cancelations will not be refunded

– Private sessions are roughly 60 minutes, breathing with guidance for approximately 35 minutes.
– Group sessions are roughly 90 minutes, breathing with guidance for approximately 50 minutes.
– Please wear socks in the studio. You can wear flip-flops, just bring socks with you to keep surfaces clean.
– Avoid eating a big meal 2 hours before a session.
– Wear loose fitting clothing, something comfortable.
– Upon arrival, park anywhere in the driveway.
– Enter thru the side gate north of the garage. Proceed to the guest house in the back.
– Enter the sliding glass doors and the studio is straight ahead.
– Please remove your shoes upon entering the house.
– I will explain the session when your time starts and demonstrate the breath being used.
– You’ll have a break if needed and then transition to a supine position or reclined, depending on session type.
– A thick yoga mat is provided for supine position during breathwork.
– An upright reclining beach mat is provided for seated meditation sessions.
– Mexican blankets are provided to use for your comfort, as a support for your knees or warmth.
– You may bring a pillow if you’d like and water to help flush toxins. An eye mask is optional as well.
– I recommend bringing a journal to note any thoughts or reflections after a breathing session.
– Music is played during the breathe. Each session is designed uniquely with the client(s) in mind.
– What happens in a session is confidential.
– Time is allowed after the breathe for anyone willing to share their experience.
– Allow yourself time after a session to integrate. I recommend only making plans with yourself.
– It’s common to feel different for a day or so if a lot of emotions come up.
– Smart watches and phones need to be turned off.
- Spiritual experiences– bright light or the presence of others; connection with the collective; the bigger picture
- Mental experiences– new ideas or solutions; remembering past experiences or situations; ah-ha moments
- Emotional experiences– joy, happiness, shame, grief, unnamed feelings, and more
- Physical experiences– watering eyes, tingling, tetany, twitches, dizziness, temperature changes, & dry mouth
