Amy Wilson
Welcome to My Healing Practice
I believe you’ve found this page for a reason. My name is Amy Wilson, and I am an Introspective Breathwork® Therapy Facilitator and Master Sound Healer, dedicated to guiding individuals through trauma and toward healing. I offer compassionate, trauma-informed support to those who have endured life’s profound challenges, including experiences such as sexual abuse, relationship difficulties, adverse childhood experiences, loss, substance use, and harmful experiences within religious settings.
Trauma encompasses far more than what we commonly recognize as life-altering events; it includes powerful emotional burdens like guilt, shame, fear, and abandonment. Our earliest experiences often shape our subconscious and influence adult life in ways we may not even realize. Recurring dreams, reactive emotions like jealousy or anger, chronic conditions, and physical pain often signal unprocessed trauma. Together, we can work through these signals, uncovering and addressing root causes to help rewire your responses and bring about healing.
I’m a Christian, married for 22 years, and a mother of three teenagers. My journey as a trauma survivor has profoundly shaped my approach to healing. Certified by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA)—the only member in Arizona—I have met rigorous standards, including over 400 hours of training, ethics education, and a commitment to GPBA’s Code of Ethics. This credential underscores my commitment to ethical and safe practice, providing you with a reliable, professional, and compassionate healing space.
My background includes certifications from the One Breath Institute in Breathwork Therapy and Life Changing Energy in Sound Healing. I specialize in using Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls and other sound healing modalities to complement Breathwork, enhancing emotional release, stress reduction, and deep relaxation.
For those who wonder how I reconcile my Christian faith with practices like chakras and energy healing, I bridge these concepts with a strong understanding of the science behind energy and emotions. I believe that true healing addresses both the physical and emotional roots of trauma, supporting personal growth and spiritual alignment.
In my experience and research, the breath is one of the most powerful, accessible tools for healing trauma without altering consciousness, unlike treatments involving psychedelics. Having explored therapies such as EMDR, Ayahuasca, and Psilocybin, I understand the desire for transformative healing. Yet, Breathwork Therapy offers a safe, natural way to access and process deep emotions, gently guiding clients through self-discovery and subconscious healing.
Achieving the highest level of training in both sound and breathwork means that I can offer an integrated approach that is truly transformative. Sound Healing works in harmony with Breathwork, using resonant frequencies to encourage emotional release, clarity, and healing. Mastery in these areas allows me to create a relaxed, receptive state for clients, amplifying the healing potential in each session.
My purpose is to provide a compassionate and empowering path to help you release past traumas and uncover your inner resilience.
