What to expect for virtual breathwork session
– One participant with Amy for 1 hour session
– Theme: to be determined
– Location to be in your own home, private setting, using Zoom

– What to expect: The day of your session or before, you will receive a link to join our session virtually.
– Headphones are helpful but not required.
– Bring your charging cord in case your device’s battery won’t last.
– We will have 1 hour dedicated to you, your personal self-care.
– Avoid eating a big meal 2 hours prior to our session.
– Wear loose fitting clothing, something comfortable.
– I will explain and demonstrate the consciousness connected breath.
– You’ll have a break and then transition into supine position.
– You will be sitting upright before we begin & laying on the floor on your back for about 30-40 minutes.
– I will lead you through a guided breathwork session.
– Music is played while I guide you.
– You will be encouraged to journal any reflections after breathwork in the time allowed.
– A time to share your experience is also allowed.
– When I close our circle, we collectively close the space and everything experienced stays within our circle.
– The sessions are kept confidential, share your experience but not that of others when applicable.
– If you get disconnected for any reason, use the same zoom link to rejoin our session.
– During your breathwork session, I will be watching you for support so your
camera will need to be on you.
– Bring 1 or more pillows or a bolster, anything else to support your comfort while lying down.
– Bring laptop, tablet, or any device with a camera and internet access.
– Bring water and notebook/ pen for journaling.
– Cell phones will be turned off.
What to expect during breathwork varies for each participant.
- Physical Experiences may include, but are not limited to:
– Dryness of the throat and mouth
– Temperature changes
– Dizziness, tingling, lightheadedness, trembles, shakes, jolts and twitches
– Tetany (numbness/tingling of the extremities) or locking up of the muscles, numbness or increased awareness of discomfort in the body
– Crying, coughing, yawning, sneezing, sweating
- Emotional Experiences may include, but are not limited to:
– happiness, joy, fear, shame, grief, guilt, unnamed feelings and more.
– It is possible to feel these at separate times, all at once, or quickly in succession.
- Mental Experiences may include, but are not limited to:
– New ideas and insights
– Remembering old experiences, situations and conversations
– Finding solutions to problems
- Spiritual Experiences may include, but are not limited to:
– Connecting to collective consciousness
– ‘Seeing’ light and feeling the presence of other
